It's precious.

Thanks to everyone that showed up @ last Friday's show. We had a great time.
And we really enjoyed playing 2 new songs; Broken and Precious.
Even though we are approaching the Christmas holidays, My Turn members never rest.
We added 2 more shows in our upcoming gig-list.
The first will take place in Patras on Monday 10th January 2011. It's our first show for the fucking new year and we are very excited to play again in Patras, welcoming back I Want You Dead and our singer (both are leaving for a European tour in the next days).
The second show will take place in Athens on Saturday 15th January; it's 99% confirmed but till we get the 100% we won't tell you anything. It's a local show, at least.
Here are the posters of the 10th January show and the Venerea show in Larissa:
In other news... We sold out the 2nd edition of our demo CDr, while we only have a bunch of tapes remaining... It seems that we are gonna print some more CDrs for our January shows; we are thinking of a special edition for our Italian trip. We'll see. Moreover, as far as I remember, we only have 2-3 tees available, so if you want one, hurry up.
I almost forgot it... Here's the link to download our demo (lyrics / covers included), don't hesitate to copy & paste it to your explorer and spread it to your friends. http://www.mediafire.com/?czu6g1tel2rk71h

That's all. We'd love to wish you a merry x-mas and a happy new year.
Till then...

Positively Negative.

So, the shows in Volos and - especially - Agrinio were epic.
Good times.
Tonight is gonna be a blast.
Don't miss the fest; we are gonna play 2 new songs, by the way.

Fri 10.12 - Riot Squat / Volos
Sat 11.12 - En Plw / Agrinio
The entrance for the 2 shows is free.
You can find the poster for the Volos show in older posts, while, unfortunately, we don't have the Agrinio show in jpeg format. We share the stage with cool bands / friends in both shows.
We'll be happy to see you / meet you there. It's gonna be a blast of a weekend.

By the way, the poster for PNHF4 changed once again.
Here's the final (we hope) one:
The show we were about to confirm is eventually confirmed.
We'll play in Milano (Saronno / Varese district), Italy, on Saturday 22nd January 2011, sharing the stage of Telos squat / venue with good friends The Smashrooms and 2 more decent bands, Congegno and Attrito.
This will be our 2nd show abroad and we're really excited about this. Already bought the airtickets!

Stay gold.

Winter won't stop us. Besides that, it's still hot in this fucking shithole!
So, we have a new show confirmed.
We are gonna play along with legendary Venerea from Sweden in Larissa on 29th January.
And this won't be our first show for 2011... We are about to confirm one more date (actually, the week before), we'll let you know...
Moreover, we have our first t-shirt unleashed.
Here you are:
Nice eh? Because after all 'our life is fucking gold', never forget this.
The tee (designed by Demon) is available in 30 cps, black design in white Fruit Of The Loom t-shirt; large, medium and small sizes.
Wanna get one? You'll have the chance during our upcoming shows or else use this: www.myturnhc.bigcartel.com

Moreover, Throats have cancelled their appearance in PNHF4 on 17th Dec. Nevermind, the fest is going on without them. The price is lower now, so better for you to come and watch us shreddin' AN Club's stage.
Btw, here's the new poster:
Till next update, da da...

Did we have fun at Patras? Sure we did!
I dare to say that this was our best show so far, even though the sound could be way better. No problem, we are a punk band after all, we can live with this! Thank you to George for everything, it really means a lot to us. And extra thanks to all our friends from Athens & Patras that showed up. We won't forget this.

So, here you have 2 posters of our upcoming shows.
We are working a bit on more shows, so stay in touch and you may read some good news in the following days.
December will be hot for us. 3 shows (or maybe one more, who knows...!) in Volos, Agrinio and Athens are waiting for us. Do we feel blessed? Yeap, I can assure you.
Friday 10th December we are sharing Riot Squat's (Volos) stage along with Green Goblins and Against All Odds.
Saturday 11th December we'll wreck En Plw's (Agrinio) stage along with the fellow musicians called Bandage. You'll get the poster anytime soon.
Friday 17th December we will proudly perform our songs at the Positively Negative Hardcore Fest 4 (AN Club, Athens).
More shows coming in January...
So, let's get back to nowadays! We'll taking a bit of a break these weeks, since our bassist is studyin' hard for an important exam he is about to take in London next week, while our vocalist is almost dead after the Deathbed tour and he still needs to work for a local show tomorrow. Both vocalist & bassist will be abroad next week, so no rehearsals for a while. F. (our guitarist) is workin' on the new issue of Take Your Shot fanzine; he promised that he'll have copies in our upcoming shows, let' see. And what about our drummer? Hmm... You know, noone cares about drummers in general, but we do; we love this guy, haha. He's currently occupied with broken relationships, football teams and PC networks, as far as I know...

Did I tell you that we are gonna have our first T-shirt, as well? Yeap, be patient, we are working on it.
My Turn apparel coming soon, haha.

That's all. Take good care of yourselves.
A. on behalf of MT

Birds of a coming storm.

The show in Larissa was awesome, thanks a lot to everyone that made us feel like home.
Although we were a bit stressed because our vocalist was working at 6 o'clock the following morning, while the rest of us were dizzy by the heavy metal tunes we're listening on the way to Larissa from Athens, we all had fun and gave our best. Or I guess so...
Tomorrow we're playing at Patras, sharing the stage with the mighty Deathbed (Finland), I Want You Dead, Boktorva B.H.Q. and Muerte De La Pega. The show will take place in University of Patras and will start at 21.00 (sharp).
It'd be really awesome if you come and join us. Hangin' out with old friends and meeting new ones is the best for a hardcore band like My Turn.
Take care of yourselves.

P.S. The presale for the Positively Negative Hardcore Fest # 4 started. We are a part of this, as well.
Get your advanced tickets from this site:
We'll upload the poster (along with the Volos show poster) in the following days.

We have a show in Larissa tomorrow.
Time for a road trip again; we missed those moments.
Show up and have some fun.
And buy tapes / CDRs, make us rich. Oops!

MT on the road.

Hey fellows,
Here you get the posters of our next 2 shows in Larissa & Patras, respectively.
We are definitely psyched about them.
Playin' live is one of the most lifesaving things for us.
Hope to meet you there.
Stay focused.

So, the show in Athens was adventurous, at least.
It won't make any sense to write down what happened after Eternal Hated finished their soundcheck (that was around 19.30), but eventually the show got moved (and saved) to another club (called Glam or Rainbow or whatever) the last minute, literally.
After all, we had 20 minutes to play our set, with no soundcheck at all, our singer running to the club just before we played the first chords and people wondering what the fuck it was happening.
We started with 'Can't tell no one', hypothetically serving the purpose of a checking our sound (sic), and then we managed to play all our 6/7 songs, plus the Gorilla Biscuits cover featuring a special guest in harmonica!
All in all, it wasn't even close to what we expected for our first show in Athens. We had some fun, though.
Nevermind, fuck it.
See you next time (17.12).

P.S. Thanks to all the kids that showed up, supported us and bought our demo. 40 CDRs sold out in 5 days, no bad at all. We're doing a 2nd pressing of 40 more CDRs, that will be available in the next days. We still have tapes available, though.
P.S.2 The Volos show is 100% confirmed for Friday 10th December; we're sharing the stage with Against All Odds and Green Goblins. We are trying to find a show in Thessaloniki for 11th December, as well, or else we'll find another city to trash up, no worries.

S.'s time

Our bassist S. (an amateur photographer) took some amazing and some not so good pictures during our trip in Sofia. I write 'some', because the cigarette / extension in his hand didn't allow them to take 'many'.
Moreover, he wants to add some more info in the report I posted yesternight (sic).
-Niki's friends are: Billy, Ljubo and Chris.
-He is in love with the tattooed hardcore girl from Sofia.
-The Montana guy 'drink, drink, drink' should be mentioned among the highlights.

Woah, Sofia was an amazing experience.
A big thanks goes to Alex LH and Martjin NTB for giving us the chance to join this awesome show, Nick Those Days for all the hospitality, Niki for being our host (& his friends, I cannot remember names, sorry...) and Nikolakis EH for letting us sleep in his house in Thessaloniki, and feeding us with vegan cake and hot tea.
Our trip started in Friday evening; after a fucking traffic jam in the national road, we managed to exit Athens at 18.00 and entered Thessaloniki at 22.30. The rest is history.
We got back in Athens late at Sunday night. More than 1600km in 2 days, not bad at all.

Highlights / inside jokes:
'Psile sentra' at Rotonta Sq.
22os | sandwich / souvlaki argument
Amfilegomenos / Amfisvitoumenos / Dubious
Plovdiv (in general)
Vegan straight edge hip hop group / F.'s dream
S.'s whistle
Ford Focus' broken bumper
Art Hostel's employee (24hr zombie)
Bilkova (only A. & S. know, the other 2 were sleeping)
Karafaki fasi / Katerini / F. dancing

So, it's time for our 2nd show / 1st in Athens.
27th Oct. is the night (that means tomorrow or even today).
Show up @ Mad Club, we're playing 1st, around 21.15.

Don't forget to grab our CDRs and tapes, while you are there.
Btw, our tape was just released. I burned my head burning tapes all day and all night.
The CDR is limited to 40 copies (20 already gone) and the tape in 60 copies (yellow C32 tape).
Here's the tape's cover, thanks to Ultra Grim Disign:

That's all.
Cya soon.

Demo CDR out now!

Hey fellow ones.
We got the final mix of our demo this morning (tons of thanks to Steph) and since then we worked with pleasure in order to prepare all 40 CDRs for you. So, yeap, our first demo is OUT NOW! 'Noble Intentions' CDR includes 6 songs + an intro of intense and passionate hardcore (or at least we think so...), A5 folded lyric sheet and a cute sticker. Moreover, the covers are hand-numbered and printed in colored papers (yellow, pink, azure & light green). The artwork was made by our friend and amazing illustrator Bill (Jerboa Illustrations) and it's 100% handmade. As mentioned above, the CDR is limited to 40 copies, this is the 1st press, even though I dunno if there's gonna be a 2nd one, actually it depends on you...!
Here's the cover:
Nice, isn't it?! The demo costs 2 euros and you can get it either by us or by visiting this site:
www.myturnhc.bigcartel.com (yeah we even made a big cartel, we're getting rich!).
We'll have copies in our first show in Bulgaria and in our upcoming Athens show on 27th, but the impatient ones can get a copy from World's Appreciated Kitsch distro table during The Feeling Of Love show in K/S this Saturday. Alex is gonna take care of the distro, so kindly ask him for a copy!
We will upload a couple of songs in our myspace site tonight or tomorrow morning. Check it out: www.myspace.com/myturnhc

The tape format of our demo is gonna be out next week, since we didn't get the tapes in time for our first show in Sofia this coming Saturday. Hopefully, we'll have the tapes in our first Greek show. Fingers crossed.

Concerning the next My Turn shows, we booked one more, this time in Volos city on Friday 10th December. More info will come soon. We are about to confirm a show in Thessaloniki on 11th December, as well.

That's all I guess.
Stay gold & take care of yerselves.
We're sailing on.

Sofia_23rd October

Yeap, it's true.
We joined the Hate City 2010 Fest, along with No Turning Back, Last Hope, Brothers In Blood, Cut Off and Seven Ate Nine.
The fest is gonna take place in The Box, downtown Sofia city, and we are playin' at 19.30, so all of you Bulgarian friends show up for some passionate hardcore / punk music.
We're psyched about this, since it'll be our first show ever.
Thanks to Alex (ReAct Booking & Last Hope) for letting us in.

'Noble Intentions' demo tapes will be available during the show.
We just got the covers from the print-office and we are patiently waiting for the yellow tapes to arrive from the UK, while our 6 songs (+ an intro) are being mixed by a super nice guy called Stefanos.
By the way, we decided to print a limited edition of CDRs, as well. We'll make a bunch of 40, handmade & handnumbered. Our friend V. (Jerboa Illustrations) is taking care of the covers.

Think positive.

Demo update.

We are happy to announce that our demo tape 'Noble Intentions' is in the final process.
You'll get more info as soon as every little detail is done and the 'product' is ready for you to grab & listen.
We hope to have this cute tape ready for our first show on 27th October.

Moreover, check our guitarist's new label, called Night Owl X. Hit him up at www.nxox.blogspot.com if you are involved in any kind of positive hardcore activity. He's co-producing our demo with our vocalist's own label, World's Appreciated Kitsch. The ultimate homemade project, don't you think so?!

Stay gold.

The Locals Only Hardcore Show

Ladies & gentlemen, dudes & dudettes, this is the poster of our first show ever.
Can't wait for this. It's gonna be special.

Thou shalt win the death of our dream
Thou shalt win the death of our dream
Thou shalt win the death of our dream
Thou shalt win the death of our dream

6 songs + an intro gettin' ready to be recorded in Jack's nest this Friday, the first day of October.
Song titles are: Noble Intentions, Lighthouse, This World, Too Much To Handle, Growing Up, Eyesky. They may change, though.
Our demo tape will be entitled as 'Noble Intentions', I guess.

Some news.

Our first show is gonna take place in Mad Club (Gkazi, Athens) on Wednesday 27th October. We'll share the stage along with fellow bands Against All Odds, Eternal Hated and Eden Demise.
There are 3 more shows coming up in November and December, as well. There will be a 4th show (not confirmed yet) during the Christmas period, we'll keep you updated.

Moreover, we have plans to release our first demo tape. We'll do our best to have it available at our first show, even though it's not 100% yet. The demo tape will include 6 songs and an intro, and it will be limited in 50 copies. You'll get more info sooner than soon.

Stay gold.

P.S. We wanna say a big thanks to Jim (Ultra Grim Disign) for designing our first logo. He's gonna provide us with more art soon! Visit his web if you need any designs, he rules. www.myspace.com/ultragrim
